Curriculum Overview
Participants who attend the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) workshop will finish training with the understanding of how to apply the process in their own organisations. This workshop covers all aspects of a robust and iterative SWP process, beginning with the foundations and alignment to business strategy to the creation of HR strategies based of the forecasting of future workforce requirements.
Courses Included:
A high level introduction to strategic workforce planning frameworks, and how they are adapted for different companies and company cultures. A detailed step-by-step review of the strategic workforce planning process enabling attendees to understand all activities involved from strategic alignment and scenario planning, to demand and supply forecasting, risk mitigations, HR strategy development, and accountability and tracking. A comprehensive introduction to the role of people and HR data in strategic workforce planning. Tips for how to embed strategic workforce planning into your organisation, including how to map the foundations of long-term decision-making. Please note: This course is technology agnostic and interactive components will be delivered via Excel or 3n Strategy’s training tools.
